Wednesday Update

Wow, since taking the pictures on the weekend I have managed to send out all 75 Christmas cards to my family and friends. Now to take care of the business holiday cards.

Life has been busy. I am almost finished my shopping. The last person (other than my husband)I need is my dear brother which I already know what I will be getting it's just a matter of getting to the store during opening hours. They close early. Go figure with the holiday season here and all. I am finishing all the work on the trees at the buildings. This year I choose to pick a different colour and was surprised that every single person came up to me and commented on how beautiful the new colour was. Yes, instead of picking your typical Christmas colours I choose Gold, Burgundy's and Dark Plum. It looks stunning together. Rose and I are heading back on Thursday as we only have another 2 trees to do. I am so happy that everything worked out as planned and I am ahead of myself this year. The only problem is my own tree is not up yet. I know I have the December 1st rule but life and the business are just too busy to follow thou. So since Tristan has a PA day on Friday and Steve is off for his flex we will put up our tree and have beautiful Christmas carol's in the background. Did I mention I love Christmas. It's my most favorite holiday.

The cookie exchange is on track. I finally was able to pick a date and even have gone as far as picking which cookie I am going to bake. I still have to decide what I will be doing for the presentation but I am sure it will come to me. I have a 100 and one ideas now just to put them into plan.

As for Dr. Poon I am still following and am determined to figure out a way to bake something within the program guidelines. Even if it kills me I am going to figure it out. lol The good news is that they now carry muffins and also granola. Oh, I can not begin to tell you how yummy it is. I love the granola and the muffins and good too. I have the coffee flavoured ones and can't wait to try the other flavours. Tonight for dinner I am making pulled pork in the slow cooker. I'll take pictures and post it up later. I know I am still a few recipes behind.

It's funny my husband has been asking me what I want for my birthday and Christmas. Really this is a year that I can honestly say I am blessed with what I have and do not need anything. Every year he gets me these great gifts and I truly appreciate it and love him for it. This year the poor man is stuck. So I decided to think long and hard. So I thought about it this morning and am prepared to give him some hints since he says he reads my blog. This is a test to see if he actually reads it from beginning to end. (wink) It's funny that he has not thought of one thing that I really would like (I say like because I really do not need this) to see sitting in my house. It has something to do with my love of my family, my friends, my life, my house, my floral work, my scrapbooking and it would make me happy to look at it. I know it's a pretty general idea but what do you think it is????? There might be a little token sent out to who gets it right.

Off to go make beds, wrap presents, wash clothes, clean my room and make dinner. Busy day and that's just the morning.

Have an awesome day!

I have recently started on Dr. Poon. I'm in my first week and seem to be having trouble trying to figure out what to eat for breakfast. What would you suggest?

And congrats on all your success with the diet. You are an inspiration for me.

Any other tips?

@ Anonymous - The first week is always hard because you are still trying to learn what you are allow on this program. Breakfast was hard until I figured out that I can have better than bacon, bacon. I am currently working on a 2 week meal plan as some have asked so that you can just follow that instead of trying to think of thinks to eat yourself. I will post when I have that ready.

These are some of the things I eat for breakfast.
-1 egg sunny side up with 2 slices of better than bacon, bacon
-white only egg omelet with mixed vegggies
-1 slice of Dr. Poon bread with Dr. Poon's caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup smaps (Dr. Poon cereal)
- 1 Dr. Poon muffin
Just to list a few.

Thank you for all your kind words this truly keeps me going.

My tip to you would be to keep doing this for yourself and when you need help just ask I am sure myself or anyone out there will be willing to help.

Hugs and many good new lifestyle vibes coming your way. Don't forget to drink your water!

@ Fleurs - Don't worry there is still time for cards. You boys did start them now you just need to print them.

As for the music I always love coming on here and just listen to the music because it's a little bit of the different songs I like. Sometimes I'm scrappin and listening to my blog's music.
