Happy Birthday Camille!!!

Just wanted to wish a dear friend of mine a very Happy Birthday! (I know I am about an hour early but wanted you to wake up to this post.) This is a special one so pull out that bottle of wine and kick back with a good book. Happy 40th Camille!!! I wish you a very special day. Have an awesome time in Vegas babe!

I also wanted to share with you the story of how I met Mrs. Camille. On April 29th, 2008 @ 2:00 am I entered York Central Hospital in Maple to have Tristan my first born. After a very hard labour and some problems my beautiful baby boy was born at 6:04 pm. This was all during Sars and was already a very difficult time for our hospital. I was promised a semi-private room but once we got upstairs they explained that because of the amount of children that were born that night that it was very hard to try and get me into my room. I told the nurse that because I was a first time mom that I really won't mind rooming with other moms. This is where it all began. All I remember was my little 5 pound 11 oz boy (Tristan) and another mom's (Camille) little girl (that was not so little) took turns crying all night. I was super tired and my nipples where sore (yes, I said nipples because if you read Camille's blog you will hear all about my nipples so I should just come clean with the sore nipples before you head over there) so sore in fact that I wanted to ripe them off my breasts. We talked thou our curtains and promised that before we left we would exchange numbers. I left the hospital exactly 24 hours later and totally forgot to give Camille my number. If there is a person that is meant to be in your life there is always a way. So Friday morning I headed to the doctors office only to open the door and be staring into my dear friend Camille and her little girl Katelyn. We exchanged numbers, talked a few times and this wouldn't be a Vern story if there wasn't something crazy that happened. Yes, Camille and I set up her husband's friend with my sister. Today they are married and Tristan and Katelyn were their ring boy and flower girl. They are a perfect little pair and I am thankful that because of my little man who decided to make his grand entrance a little earlier and Camille's beautiful daughter, my sister is married to a wonderful man and I have another amazing friend.

Here are some pictures to share with you.

My sister, her husband, Katie and Tristan.

The mini couple walking hand in hand.

The kids sitting in the car with Eeyore.

I also wanted to share with you some birthday arrangements that I just did in the last week.

This was for a new customer (Anna) who ordered flowers for her friends birthday.

Well, she loved her last arrangement so much that she called again for flowers for tomorrow. I just finished created this one for her mother in-laws birthday. She wanted to wow her so I hope her mother in-law loves them as much as I do.

It's funny how we met some people in our life but I am a true believer that everyone comes into your life for a reason and both Camille's daughter and my son had theirs. My mother thinks that they will one day get married but I keep telling her not to press the issue. They both will only be 6 on April 29th. We have tons of time before the m word comes around.
Have an awesome day!
