LEGO ZONE in St. Jacob's

We headed to St. Jacob's on Saturday afternoon in the pouring rain. The boys were excited and keep on asking when we would get there. I had no idea that it took 1 and a half hours to drive there and another one and a half hours to drive back. It was raining so we decided to head out there anyway.

We arrived and headed to Lego outlet. I guess after being in Disney World and seeing Lego Land this was very different. I was expecting it to be more like a discount outlet since that is what they advertise but instead it was a room with half of it being a store and the other half having about 8 Lego built pieces. A couple of tables where the kid's can build and another to race your creations on. The prices I found to be pricey since I could have just gone into the Toys R Us and purchased the same Bionicle for the same price and still saved on time and gas. lol I always chalk it up to another adventure with my boys. They really did not want to play so I headed to the scrapbook store there and purchase only 5 sheets of paper. Nothing I already did not own. Nice store layout. I remember the owner from the trade shows I use to attend with Cherished. Other than those two stores we headed to dinner at Kelsey's. Had my usual Chicken Salad.

My suggestion is if your kid's let you shop while away then head down to St. Jocob's if not then stay home. lol

Here's the Lego store info along with some pictures of the boys.

Both boys checking out the Lego pieces they offer to build a creation with.

Hanging out with some cool sculptures.

Ethan doing his own shopping.

Tristan with his finished piece. Took him maybe 5 minutes to complete once we arrived home.

The best parts where singing in the car with the boys, seeing a couple of Mennonite ladies ridding a horse and carriage, and just taking some time out for my family. I honestly wish we had spent more time just shopping around and checking out their culture. I guess there is always next time.

Stay tune because there will be more blog candy going up in the next day or so.

Have an awesome night!
