I always have great intentions to come on here and write to you all but it ends up the weekend turns nuts and I am only able to log in on Monday when Tristan is at school and Ethan is running around. Tonight I decided after a crazy weekend I was going to relax and enjoy my Sunday. Did I........you ask????? No, I ended up cleaning the inside and out of my father's mini van, went shopping for my sister's baby shower gift, started the fall decorate outdoors and cooked a brisket which was going to be for dinner but it did not cook in time so tomorrow's meal is ready and waiting.
I had so many things on my list this weekend and did manage to get most done except for the invitations. I will have them all out by Thursday but am getting a little worried because I have so much to do from now until then.
The wedding turned out great. Thanks to Edna and Rose for their help. We were out of there by 2:30pm it would have been sooner if the baubles didn't run out. Long story but we got everything sorted out. The bride looked beautiful even at 1:30 am when I went back for the urns. She is so sweet. I wish them both a great time on their honeymoon and an even better married life.
The Santa Fest 10th year anniversary went great except for the fact that I broke a vase just a few hours before starting and also noticed they forgot to tell me the exact numbers on the tables so there was one missing. I did however run home and make an extra one so that every single table had something on it. I hope they raised quite a bit of money for the new Vaughan Hospital.
I can not believe there are only 20 days until Crop for the Cure. Things are falling into place but I just need to contact some of the companies again that I sent fax's to about 2 months ago. I know it seams that two months is a long time but they need it so that they can determine if they would like to support the cause or not. I hope that they do but until then I will not mention anything until it all comes thou. I am going to start uploading supporting companies to the blog and hopefully can supply you with a direct link.
Dr. Poon's diet. Yes, I am still going strong however Saturday I did cheat and had a wrap because I was starving when setting up the hall. It was only one wrap but I am admitting to having it which is great. Otherwise I have done well yet again for the last two weeks but what truly counts is when I get on his scale. I'll keep everyone up to date on the appointment on Tuesday morning. I am getting excited because I love hearing that all my work pays off.
Off I go to get the envelopes addressed.
Have an awesome night!
P.S. Forgot to mention Brother's & Sister's season premiere is on tonight. Woot! Woot! and of course Desperate Housewives.
