Busy week.....flowers, flowers and more flowers.....

Wow, it's already Saturday night and I just finished my last order for the weekend. At least I think it is my last order for the weekend......you never know what tomorrow brings. It has certainly been a very busy April just like I thought it would be. I have been going non stop this whole week. Monday cleaned, Tuesday floral order/met with client, Wednesday floral orders, Thursday a huge funeral floral order/Edna's birthday dinner, Friday cleaning and orders, today mom-2-mom sale/dance/floral order for tomorrow.

On Thursday as I explained it was Edna's birthday dinner. I can not tell you how much fun we had. Marcello's is always a place I love to visit and with Ed and Rose it makes it even better. We laughed and just had a wonderful time. We all had salad to start, pizza and shared dessert and had coffee. Thanks Lisa (Edna's work friend) for the coffee and dessert. It tasted great and sure helped me stay up all almost all night. Next time I over book myself I will have to come and have another one of those coffees so that I am for sure to stay up all night.
Here is a picture of all of us. Left to right: Edna (Birthday Girl), Me and Rose
This is a special creating that I made for my dear friend Edna's birthday. It's my version of sushi in a floral arrangement.

Here are the arrangements I created for a corporate client who ordered flowers for a death. The two arrangements below are one from the studio and the one below from all the teachers.

Teacher's arrangement.

Also had a confirmation to do flowers for. This is a wonderful client that came to me referred from a wonderful corporate client that I have. Her daughter is getting confirmmed and she wanted some flowers for her sister in-laws house since she was hosting coffee and cake. The party will be in 2 weeks. Stay tuned for what I will be creating then.

Mentioned that today I was selling items at the mom-2-mom sale with my girlfriend Amy. There is something about Amy that she always knows how to make me laugh and put a huge smile on my face. The sale was awesome and certainly made a ton of money which is always great. I already paid for my spot in the November one. I know a little early but hey when you want a good spot you have to be prepared to do whatever it takes to get it.

I will come back and post tomorrow the arrangements I created for tomorrow's engagement party and also share some pictures of the Jason's communion that my family it attending. I am looking forward to seeing him all dressed up.

Wanted to share with you the picture of the card I created for him. The cross has the Our Father prayer. I embossed it in the light blue shade that matches the patterned paper.

Looking forward to another busy day tomorrow. I'll be back to post some more.
