It has been 36 weeks and I am still on a roll. I lost another 3.5 pounds of which 3 pounds were just fat alone. In total I have lost 61 pounds.
If you are asking me if I can believe it? The answer is no it's still so surreal for me. I only notice when I put older clothes on to see where I'm at and also in pictures of myself. This just feels great.
My goal for the next two weeks is to lose 4-5 pounds. I want to hit the 65 pounds off goal which is my next one.

way to go Vern, you are an inspiration to me. I did my strict phase of Dr. Bernstein diet in January and lost 15 pounds, yeehaw! I'll slow down for a few weeks then do it again. love your recipes btw.
I started Dr. Poon in July and then fell off the wagon in October...I had lost almost 20 pounds. I gained back almost 10 and I want to start again. Today is day 1...I find it so much more difficult to start back up. Do you have any suggestions?
@ Clare - I am glad that you are back on track. It's great to hear that you are also using the recipes for Dr. Berstein. I guess they work into his plan also. Keep up the great work!
@ Rainbow - It should be difficult because you know that if you stick to it it will in return work for you. You too can totally ace this with your eyes closed. Don't think about how hard it is but that you can totally rock this and loss what you want to. I know you can totally do it!

Also do you have any recommendations for what to eat between meals. I am having a very difficult time choosing what to eat in the middle of the day. I don't have the ability to prepare food during my work hours and so its hard to decide what to eat between meals.
