Ok so not the best picture of me but I was cleaning out (yes, again) my closet. I took out 57 hangers and wanted to have some fun playing dress up with some of the clothes I will be keeping to keep me motivated. I purchased this dress for my sisters wedding and I had to get it altered and decided to also change it to something I would like and would wear again. I changed my mind as soon as I tried it on again. lol I think you will agree that it is a dress I should never wear again. I will keep it to keep reminding me of were I came from and where I will be heading and the full journey it has taken me to get there.

unbelievable!!! funny though..no matter what size you are..you still are so sexy ...your personality is so attractive and your heart is so caring...a great combination...keep going because I truly believe you only needed to lose weight for your health!!!! :)
@ just another stay at home mom - You have always been a wonderful supporter. Thank you for always making me feel so special.
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! Incredible!! And yes no matter what size YOU are beautiful :)
What a good reminder of where you've come from! Congrats! I'm struggling a bit myself right now - went to a wedding, ate a bit of non-diet food and now I haven't lost any weight in a week - but this inspires me! Woohoo! How much have you lost now? I'd gotten to 84.8 but I gained a bit due to the wedding so my total is 83.2.
@ Kataroo - Thank you for all your support. Hugs my dear friend.
@ Leah - Wow. 83.5 you should be extremely proud of yourself. I am totally stocked for you. Congrats. I am at a loss of 73.5 pounds. I wish I were closer to the 100 pounds but am totally happy were I am and were I still need to go.
Amazing Veronica! Numbers on a scale are there to help guide us to our goals but our old clothes...they are there to SHOW us where we're headed if we can keep it up. What a visual!! As always, you inspire me. God bless.

@ Anon - I can not believe how fast I am srinking out of my clothes. I've had to purchase a lot of new ones. I am taking it nice and slow this way I know for sure that it's the right thing. I want to purchase a pair of Versace jeans for myself in a really tiny size. Let's see when I will be posting those pictures.
Just started the Dr Poon diet. I need to loose half my weight :( I too am starting at a size 24. Your blog is very encouraging. I really enjoyed reading your blog and the reciepes and looking forward to trying them out. Please can you post some more recipes for phase 1? You are so beautiful and amazing. Keep it up :)
I just found your blog googling Dr. Poon recipes. I'm just entering week 6 and needing some go-to phase 1 recipes, and you have provided so many. I read you were also in the wedding industry. Me too.....rentals. And I get that you don't have time to even get to a grocery store each week. I work 100+ hours and live for November. LOL I have started this program in the off season as there was no way I could even think during the peak time. I wanted to say congrats on your new you. It's astonishing the transformation.
I'm down 12 lbs and hopefully a bit more on Wed. weigh in. It's difficult, but I can already see the old me coming back. And I feel so much better. So thanks for your inspiration and don't work too hard!
Gonna try those meringue bites for sure!
Cheers,
K
I have just completed the 5th week of Dr. Poon and down about 12 ...and hopefully more on my Wed. weigh in. I found you while googling and wanted to thank you for the recipes and the inspiration. You look fantastic. So proud for you. I know that just 12 lbs in I am starting to see the "old" me. I just look healthier. I see you are also in the wedding industry and I totally get that you have NO TIME in peak season. I'm in boutique rentals and I work 100+ hours a week, so I wanted to get this down before the next wave.
Congrats to you and I am looking forward to those meringue bites. All the best for continued success.
Thanks for the posts,
K
